Born on 17 March, 1950 at Bhubaneswar, Orissa. Hon’ble Member is an alumni of National Defence Academy, Defence Service Staff College and National Defence College. Fought valiantly in 1971 war, Siachin conflict, and in Jammu & Kashmir Front including Kargil war. Awarded a number of awards and medals including the Param Vishisth Seva Medal in March, 2011 for his distinguished service in the Army. Retired from prestigious Rashtriya Rifles, in March, 2010 that he headed as the Director General. Joined as Member (Administrative), Armed Forces Tribunal, Regional Bench, Kolkata on 19th October, 2010. Retired as Member (Administrative), Armed Forces Tribunal, Regional Bench, Kolkata on 18th October, 2014.
